The Employment Snapshot uses BLS CPS, CES, JOLTS, and LAUS series. Industry Trends uses comparable national Current Employment Statistics supersector series. Each live section displays its reporting period and links to the relevant BLS series or program.

Source cadence varies: some series are monthly, while wage and projection releases may be annual or less frequent. NineKit will display the source reporting period and retrieval date rather than describing periodic releases as real-time values.

NineKit checks the connected BLS sources weekly and stores the last successful result. A manual refresh is available no more than once per hour. If BLS is temporarily unavailable, the dashboard keeps the last verified result, marks it as cached or stale, and shows its retrieval date. If no verified result exists, the live section shows an unavailable message rather than sample values.
